Step4. How to Mint

Learn about the Mint and Redeem features from here.

Getting set up to Mint

Before you can mint, you need a Binance Smart Chain-compatible wallet. You can learn how to get one here. You also need to have some BEP20 tokens to cover your conversion fees. You can learn how to get some here.

Mint

1. Go to the Mint page here.

2. Connect your Binance Smart Chain-compatible wallet by clicking "CONNECT" (you can also Connect in the top right-hand corner). If you haven't yet connected your wallet to Samecoin Protocol, there is a guide here just for you.

3. Choose the token you want to trade from the dropdown menu in the "From" section. The default setting is BUSD.

4. Allow Samecoin Protocol to spend your token by clicking the "Approve" button if it is your first time minting this coin. You do not need to do this again on the wallet you've connected with.

5. Click Confirm to complete the approve action.

6. You'll get the "Approve Successfully" notice after it has finished successfully. If you receive any errors, try to refresh your browser or re-connect to your wallet.

7. Type an amount for your "From" token by clicking inside the input box. Then click Mint to convert your token to SameUSD.

8. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action. Click Confirm if you wish to continue.

9. Congratulations! You just minted your own SameUSD!

10. You should receive the SUSD token in your wallet.
