# Step5. How to Redeem

### Getting set up to Redeem

Before you can redeem, you need a Binance Smart Chain-compatible wallet. You can learn how to get one [here](/how-to-start/create-a-crypto-wallet.md). You also need some SameUSD. Learn how to get SameUSD [here](/how-to-start/step4.-how-to-mint-redeem.md).

### **Redeem**

1\. Go to the Redeem page [here](https://app.samecoin.com/#/Redeem).

2\. Connect your Binance Smart Chain-compatible wallet by clicking **"CONNECT"** (you can also **Connect** in the top right-hand corner). If you haven't connected your wallet to Samecoin Protocol, you can find the guide [here](/how-to-start/step3.-connect-your-wallet.md).

3\. Choose the token you want to trade to the dropdown menu in the "To" section. The default setting is BUSD.

4\. Type an amount for your SameUSD by clicking inside the input box. Then click **"Redeem"** to convert your SameUSD to specific token.

5\. Your wallet will ask you to confirm the action.

6\. Redeem Successfully!

7\. You should receive the stablecoin in your wallet.
